Engraved animals give life to boulders across the continent, this fellow recorded in Fezzan, Libya by German ethnologist Leo Frobenius on one of 12 expeditions. The geometric design which I have I have used to fill in some of the beast was also recorded by Frobenius, in this case in Nigeria.
